It would be difficult to hit more of the highlights of Rocky Mountain National Park on a single hike. Circle of Lakes starts at Bear Lake, then heads up to Nymph and Dream Lakes. From there we headed up to Lake Haiyaha, enjoying the views down the valley, and the sunlight glistening off the lower lakes.
From Lake Haiyaha, we continued up to The Loch. We had the best lunch spot to ourselves - could that have been because of the gale force winds?
On the return down past Alberta Falls we took the side trip to the bridge over Icy Brook on the North Long Peaks trail, one of the hidden gems in the park.
